Foodies Rejoice – Avoca Has Just Opened Their Biggest Ever Cafe

Sarah

The foodie gods have joined forces and brought us a delightful new offering this week in the form of Ireland’s largest ever Avoca Ireland cafe.

*Swoon*

Opened only last night, the brand spankin’ new Fork Cafe is in Dunboyne, Co Meath, and it looks deliriously gorge.

The cafe pays homage to the farm to fork concept, and Avoca are celebrating the origins of their food, growing produce in grow beds placed alongside the large outdoor seating terrace.

Fork Café diners will be surrounded by growing vegetables, which are then harvested, used in their kitchens and served in the cafe’s dishes – amazing.

The 50,000sq ft store has all the lovely Avoca things you know and love, including artisan food retail products, luxe textiles and fresh plants and flowers.

The cafe is self-service style, and there’s also a Sprout salad counter who will be whipping up their heavenly creations right by the terrace.

This is just made for Summer lunching

Feeling like something a bit more… Indulgent? You’re sorted then, cos there’s also a woodfired pizza van on the terrace itself for a real treat.

A fresh, cheesey, smokey, doughy treat. Mmm.

The food here is going to make locals lives a LOT tastier, if the usual Avoca treats are anything to go by.

And last night’s opening party eats seems to confirm this.

The Fork Cafe will be open Monday – Friday 8am – 5.30pm, and Saturday & Sunday & Bank Holidays 9am – 5.30pm.

Guess we’ll just have to make a little roadtrip every weekend to this heavenly retreat?
