Forecast Chart Shows Snow “Engulfing” Ireland In The Coming Weeks

Yesterday was one of the coldest days of the year, and temperatures are set to plummet even further as the bookies slash their odds on a White Christmas. 

While the first couple of weeks of November are set to be mild, a chart published on the Express shows wintry showers “engulfing” Ireland and the UK in late November. 

Piers Corbyn, forecaster for WeatherAction, told the publication:

“Apart from some cold snaps the first half of November is looking relatively average for the time of year with some milder periods.

“However during the second half of the month there is a greater risk of things tuning much colder and this will bring a greater threat of snow.”. 

Meanwhile closer to home, Met Éireann have said today will be sunny with frost and fog clearing. We can expect a much milder night today with lows of 7- 10 degrees. 

Thursday and Friday are set to be mild again, with colder conditions returning at the weekend.
