George Ezra Announces Support Acts For Irish Shows

Brian Dillon

George Ezra is set to arrive in Ireland next week, playing a number of outdoor gigs around the country.

The singer has just confirmed that The Vaccines and Kawala will join him for what are set to be his biggest Irish shows to date.

Festival goers will be familiar with The Vaccines, who have been frequenting Ireland for the past few years and headlined quite a big outdoor show in Kilmainham in the summer of 2016.

Ezra kicks off his Irish shows at Irish Independent Park in Cork on Thursday, June 20, and then heads to Malahide Castle in Dublin on Friday, June 21 and finally Ormeau Park in Belfast on Saturday, June 22.

Ezra brings his tour to Ireland following the success of his second number one album, Staying At Tamara’s, which was released in March of last year – nearly four years after the release of his debut album, Wanted On Voyage.

The hit album features the number one single Shotgun, which was at the top of the Official Irish singles chart for nine consecutive weeks.

It also features worldwide hits Paradise, which has now been certified Platinum, along with Hold My Girl, Pretty Shining People, Saviour, and Don’t Matter Now.
