“Procreating Like No Tomorrow” – The Things These Clare Goats Are Up To Have People Nearly Crashing Their Cars

Now, if you were out in any town or city over the Bank Holiday weekend, you probably came across some sights.

But, if you were in the Banner county and came across some goats, you probably have images that you will take with you to the grave.

The Irish Sun is reporting that goats in Clare are causing locals heartache as they disturb their peaceful area.

One councillor stated that they “are procreating like there is no tomorrow” on the outskirts of Ennis. 

Fine Gael member of Clare County Council, Mary Howard said that the matter was causing “huge frustration” and considered castrating the male goats in the area as people don’t want to see them getting put down. 

The Mayor of Clare, Tom McNamara, added that “the disturbance that these goats are causing in the locality is totally unacceptable. [They] are getting up on top of cars and going around businesses at night time”.

The matter has gotten so big in that neck of the woods that they have called on the Council to erect signs warning motorists about the giddy goats as several drivers have almost crashed their cars paying attention to the goings on of the goats as well as trying to avoid them when they pop into their path out of nowhere.

Sometimes, you just can’t make this sort of stuff up.
