Imelda May Will Perform A Very Unlikely Duet On ‘The Graham Norton Show’ This Week

The Graham Norton Show returned with a bang last week as the crème de la crème of Hollywood joined the Corkman on his famous sofa.

Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Jodie Whittaker all rocked up to kick off the 2018 autumn season in style.

It’s fair to say that this week’s line-up might not have the same amount of A-list glitz but it’s a decent selection all the same and viewers will be treated to an unlikely duet featuring none other than one of Ireland’s finest voices, Imelda May.

That’s right, Imelda features on an upcoming album by internet meme and actor Jeff Goldblum and the pair will perform Straighten Up And Fly Right on Graham’s show this Friday night.

If Imelda can match this story she told on a previous appearance on the show, she’ll be doing well.

Also appearing will be Take That’s Gary Barlow, discussing his new autobiography A Better Me, Rowan Atkinson talking about the release of Johnny English Strikes Again and horror icon Jamie Lee Curtis speaking about the latest instalment of the Halloween movie franchise which she will be appearing in.

Sounds like a decent night on the sofa. The Graham Norton Show airs this Friday on BBC 1 at 10.35pm.
