Meghan Markle Has Revealed Her Baby’s Due Date For The First Time

James Fenton

Back in the autumn, royal watchers rejoiced at the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, formerly known as Harry and Meghan, were expecting their first child.

The announcement came just months after the the pair got hitched and came via a Twitter post by Kensington Palace which said ‘Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.’

All well and good but the announcement did leave a question mark over the exact date of the royal baby’s arrival. Until today, that is.

According to People.com, Meghan revealed the big news on a visit to the town of Birkenhead, telling crowds that she is six months pregnant and is due to give birth in late April, meaning there are only three more months to wait for those of you who can’t wait to see what the little critter looks like.

As for who the baby will be named after, surely Joe Canning is in with a shout?
