Every year we see different baby names becoming increasingly popular, and others remaining consistently common.
We may only be four months into 2018, but that hasn’t stopped a clear trend developing among new parents naming their children.
This year, according to Names.org, a website which ranks the popularity of names throughout the year, there’s a clear winner when it comes to boys names.Â
Top of the list? Noah
To be honest, we’ve no idea what inspired people to start choosing Noah, but we’ve certainly heard a lot of it.
And, to be fair, it is absolutely adorable.
The top 10 boys names so far in 2018 are as follows:

3. Benjamin

When it comes to girls, the top name so far this year has been an all-time classic – Olivia.
Olivia is followed closely by Emma, Ava and Charlotte, all of which have surpassed the likes of Sophia and Isabella – names that probably would’ve been quite popular a couple of years ago.Â
