PICS: River Island Issue Urgent Recall Of These Pieces Of Clothing For Safety Reasons

If you have these in your wardrobe, you need to return them immediately.

River Island has issued an urgent recall of some of its products over safety reasons.

It’s a “voluntary recall of two Children’s clothing products, which were on sale in-store and online.”

The two products in question are children’s mini trainers and girls outfits which can be seen below.

Regarding the shoes: “This recall impacts the product numbers listed above only. The product numbers can be identified on the care label. The safety concern is that the toggle may be defective and can be easily pulled off. “

Product numbers are: 417748/417749 and 417751/417752

Regarding the girls outfits: “This recall impacts the product numbers listed above only. The product numbers can be identified on the care label. The safety concern is that the waistband on the following products does not conform to the recommended length requirements.”

Product numbers are: 831334/831335, 831463/831464, 831481/831482, 831465/831466 and 831403/831404.

The CCPC states that: “The product numbers can be identified on the care label. The safety concern is that the waistband on the following products does not conform to the recommended length requirements.

“Approximately 30 units of the above-listed products were sold on the Irish market through a combination of in-store and online sales.

“If you believe that you may have either of these products, then consumers are advised to stop using it immediately and keep it out of reach of children. You should return it to any River Island store, where a full refund will be provided.”
