The middle aisle strikes again.

Skiing isn’t usually an activity you’d associate with bargain prices but luckily, Lidl’s about to change all that.

If you’re heading to the slopes this ski season don’t get fleeced – Lidl have a full range of gear hitting stores nationwide from next Monday, 21st November.

The adult’s range includes Ski Socks from €4.99, Base Layer Tops from €14.99 and Base Layer Trousers from €12.99. Meanwhile the Ski Jackets which start from €34.99 and matching Ski Trousers from €24.99 are perfect for jaunts on the alps or, realistically, a trip to the shops in the midst of an Irish winter.

If you are off to the slopes, there’s adults’ ski and snowboard goggles with 100% UV protection and anti-fog coated inner lens for €11.99 and an adults’ ski and snowboard helmet with 10 vents for effective ventilation for only €29.99.

There’s also plenty of gear for kids aged 2-14, including wind and waterproof ski jackets for €19.99, ski trousers from €14.99 and winter boots from €17.99. All items are insulated, with reflective materials ensuring high visibility during the darker evenings (which, as we know start at about 3pm at the moment).

Ski Week kicks off on Monday 21st November in 175 stores nationwide. No Lidl branded ski suits to match our Christmas jumpers from last year, but we live in hope.
