Sunday Times Forced To Apologise For Offensive Kevin Myers Column

The editor of The Sunday Times has apologised for printed a column by Irish journalist Kevin Myers, who has been branded “anti-semitic” and “unacceptable”.

In the article, entitled ‘Sorry, Ladies – Equal Pay Has To Be Earned’, Myers discusses the gender pay gap and singles our BBC presenters Claudia Winkleman and Vanessa Feltz.

The piece has generated a huge backlash on social media and the newspaper has now issued a statement of apology, admitting that it should never have been published.
