The best 3-star, 4-star and 5-star hotels in Ireland revealed during annual award ceremony

The Gold Medal Awards took place on Tuesday evening, with the best hotels in Ireland awarded for their standards throughout 2022. The ceremony was hosted by Anne Doyle and took place in The Galmont Hotel in Galway, the awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across the island of Ireland.

The highlight awards for the night and their respective winners were as follows:

Supreme Winner

Gold – The Imperial Hotel, Co. Cork

Ireland’s Best Five Star Hotels

Gold – InterContinental Dublin, Co Dublin

Silver – Hayfield Manor, Co Cork

Bronze – Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate, Co Galway

Ireland’s Best Four Star Hotels

Gold – Armada Hotel, Co. Clare

Silver – The Montenotte Hotel, Co. Cork

Bronze – Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa, Co. Roscommon

Ireland’s Best Three Star Hotels

Gold – Clew Bay Hotel, Co. Mayo

Silver – The Wyatt Hotel, Co. Mayo

Bronze – Castle Arch Hotel, Co. Meath

Ireland’s Favourite Place To Stay

Overall Winner – Castle Leslie Estate, Co. Monaghan

Connacht – Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Co. Sligo

Leinster – Ashling Hotel, Co. Dublin

Munster – Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, Co. Kerry

Ulster – Castle Leslie Estate, Co. Monaghan
