The Simpsons’ House Is Up For Sale On DAFT Right Now

seank

House hunters looking in the Salthill area stumbled upon this piss take ad on DAFT this morning.

For the day that’s in it, REMAX posted an advertisement for 742 Evergreen Terrace from The Simpsons, which is located in Galway apparently.

And it’s as chocked full of references to the animated series as you’d imagine.

RE/MAX Galway are delighted to present to the market a wonderful 4 bed detached house located at 742 Evergreen Terrace, Salthill.

The walls have been finished with lead paint, the roof leaks, and the kitchen is so badly damaged that it needs to be rebuilt.

This two-story detached house boasts an attached garage, basement which can be used as a “secret lair” and an attic which can be used to hide evil twins.

There is planning permission for an extension of a wooden room to the second floor. It can function as a guest bedroom, but the previous owners have quoted, “If the building inspector asks, it’s not a room. It’s a window box”. The property also features a treehouse in the rear garden.

Salthill’s scenic views across Galway Bay are disrupted by the infamous “Springfield” Nuclear Power Plant, which is owned by Montgomery Burns. The plant has the monopoly on Galway’s energy supply, and the carelessness of the CEO Mr. Burns and the plant’s employees often endangers the residents and natural environment of Salthill.

Salthill is home to the state’s largest self-sustaining tire fire, which has been burning continuously for decades. Within the town are many amenities including the Krusty Krab, the Kwik-E Mart, St. Enda’s Primary School and Moe’s Tavern to name a few.

Viewings commence today April 1st to coincide with the April Fool’s celebrations.
