UFC Fighter Claims Conor McGregor’s Last Fight Was A Fix

James Fenton

We’re not sure what The Notorious will have to say about this but we can can assume that a characteristic tongue-lashing is imminent.

Russian UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov has claimed that Conor McGregor’s November victory over Eddie Alvarez was fixed.

Speaking to The Independent over in the UK, the lightweight said:

“I don’t care about McGregor, you guys know his Uncle Dana give him a gift. He jumped over all contenders and he fought for the title. I do not understand this fight. He catches him a few times and he falls down—to me this is a fake fight.

Nurmagomedov will this weekend fight Tony Ferguson for the interim lightweight title, the winner of which is expected to go on and face McGregor for a new unified belt.

While the accusations appear pretty unfounded, we’re fairly sure McGregor won’t take them lying down.
