Weather Warnings For These Irish Counties Thanks To Hurricane Gert

As un-intimidating as Hurricane Gert (lol) may sound, its unfortunately set to throttle us this weekend. 

And while the hurricane will have greatly diminished by the time it reaches Ireland after wreaking havoc across the Atlantic, weather warnings have been put in place for these five Irish counties. 

Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo were yesterday issued with flood and heavy rainfall warnings ahead of the weekend. 

The warnings will be in place until 4pm today, Friday.
