A Westlife Reunion Is Officially Happening But There’s One Heartbreaking Omission From The Squad

It’s happening, Westlife are getting back together.

The news was confirmed to the The Sun by an insider who said that Westlife have opted to sign for Universal, giving Simon Cowell the two fingers.

We’re talking a tour and a few new songs if you wouldn’t smile.

There had been talks about a full-on Westlife reunion in the past with Brian McFadden involved but it looks like that will certainly not be happening this time around.

“It’s signed, sealed and delivered and it’s definitely happening — and it absolutely does not include Brian McFadden.

“The other guys have been lined up to return to the studio and record some new songs and tour dates have even been organised, so it’s definitely going ahead this time.”

This is also believed to be one of the reasons that the lads didn’t go with Simon’s label. He wanted a big reunion involving McFadden.

Don’t get us wrong, this is massive news for the entire nation but for those of you who remember Westlife pre-2004, Westlife is Shane, Mark, Nicky, Cian and Brian.

One cannot simply sing ‘My Love’, ‘When You’re Looking Like That’ or ‘Seasons in the Sun’ without thinking about Brian.

Why did he have to go, why?

But, the quartet is better than nothing and we’re looking forward to seeing the best boyband ever (take that, Take That) back doing what they do best.
