Anyone who is travelling with Aer Lingus today has been advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.
French air traffic controllers have joined a General Strike in the country today which will continue until 6am on Wednesday morning.
No flights have been cancelled as of yet but there have been several delays, and the airline has promised that anyone whose flight is cancelled will be booked onto the next available one.
Some European flights may be delayed or cancelled today due to a General Strike in France. Please check your flight status before leaving for the airport. If your flight does not operate, we can re-book you on the next available flight, or you can cancel and apply for a refund.

The airline released a statement that said, ‘Aer Lingus wishes to advise that due to a general strike by air traffic controllers in France, we are experiencing a number of delays to our schedule today, Tuesday 19th March.
“We would advise guests to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport on aerlingus.com.
“In the event your flight does not operate, guests will be re-booked on the next available flight or can cancel and apply for a refund.”
