This Pub Will Be Selling Pints For Just Seven Cents Next Week

If you’ve a few coppers lying around the house you could do worse than get yourself to The Oval in Cork next Tuesday.

The popular spot is putting on a bit of a do to celebrate its 100th birthday and like all good parties, punters will be getting exactly what they want – cheap drink.

As part of the celebrations, The Oval has promised to roll back the years to 1918 and dish out pints of Beamish for the minuscule price of just seven cents, just like they would have cost a century ago.

A post on the pub’s Facebook reads ‘Our resident currency expert has been doing the numbers and we finally have a pint for the 1918 equivalent! from 19:18 on 18/12 we will be serving pints of Beamish for 7c while stocks last.’

We’d imagine those stocks won’t last too long so you better get down to Main Street Cork not a minute later than 7.18pm.

This is one pub that definitely knows how to treat its customers.
