Protesters In Cork City Campaigned For An ‘Irexit’

clodagh

Yesterday saw a protest form in Cork City, calling for Ireland to leave the EU, or as it’s been dubbed, an ‘Irexit’.

A large crowd of people formed outside the city hall to call for Ireland to leave the EU and follow in Britain’s footsteps.

The crowd, which included Cork County councillor Diarmuid O’Cadhla, held a public forum outside City Hall, according to Evening Echo.

They burned an EU flag outside the city hall as a clear indicator of their feelings about Ireland’s EU membership.

There has been no official talk about Ireland leaving the EU.
