What is it?
It’s a massive festival that is returning to Cork this weekend packed with music, dance, visual art and conversation.
And it has a lot of famous people and musicians at it.
Sounds from a Safe Harbour is returning to Cork running from Thursday September 14 – Sunday 17 across over 60 venues in Leeside.
The four day festival includes a lot of gigs but also free shows across the city, so really there is no excuse to not pack the car up and go to the beautiful city this weekend.
Some of the festival headliners include renown Bon Iver, Lisa Hannigan with the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra & Aaron Dessner, Saint Sister and many more.
The festival also has a free Conversations & Words trail which invites you to engage in intimate conversations and listen to talk from renown artists, writers, filmmakers and more from both Ireland and abroad.
Some of the big names include, Cillian Murphy, Kevin Barry, and Bryce Dessner to name but a few.
There will also be a Heineken Free Music Trail that includes gigs across the city with the likes of New Jackson, Rosie Carney and Rosa Nutty.
