Cork Named Third Friendliest City In The World

Cork has been named the third friendliest city in the world by Condé Nast in their 2018 August survey.

Ireland’s second city saw off competition from Galway and Dublin though both featured in the Top 10.

The travel mag described Cork as “picturesque” and “bursting with cosy pubs and beer gardens, where you can enjoy the outdoors while sharing a table with friendly locals.

Special mention is also given to the city’s famous English Market and local art galleries.

We can only imagine that everyone in Cork is feeling a bit like this now…
