While we might have grown up obsessing over American colleges and their seemingly cool football teams and cheerleading squads and huuuge grassy fields, Americans have been lusting after cultural European campuses.
Cosmpolitan magazine recently featured 30 of the most beautiful college campuses in the world, and bejaysis didn’t they put our very own Trinity College Dublin in the prime 2nd place?!
Here’s how what they had to say…
“Modeled after grand the collegiate universities of Oxford and Cambridge, Trinity College was founded in 1592 and is one of the seven ancient universities of Britain and Ireland. The college features 25 different schools, so it makes sense the Library of Trinity College holds more than 6.2 million printed volumes of manuscripts, music, and maps.”
As for first place? That went to Flagler College in Florida, a tropical campus that looks more like a five star holiday resort than a uni. Niiiice.
