Kiara Keane

If you’re looking to book yourself a city break without spending an absolute fortune, then look no further.

This handy new list of just how much an average day out in some of the most popular European destinations can cost will help you to decide exactly what you can afford.

The new figures from Alpharooms looked at the 10 most visited cities on the continent – Antalya, Prague, Dublin, Rome, Benidorm, Vienna, Paris, London, Istanbul and Amsterdam.

To get the average price, they took into account how much things like a meal, tourist attractions, public transport and drinks will cost you in each destination.

Coming out on top as the cheapest location was Antalya in Turkey, with an average day out setting you back just €31.24.

Prague was in second place with an average of €42.16, followed by Istanbul at €43.07.

Unsurprisingly, London was the most expensive on the list, costing an average of €117.78 for a day out.

Dublin was also high up on the list, coming in as the fourth most expensive city where it costs €81.79.
