8 Beautiful Pictures That Will Make You Book Your Next Holiday Immediately

RebeccaL

They say a picture says a thousand words, and by God were they right.

Sometimes you see an image of a place that is so stunning, so breathtaking, that you’re over at your laptop frantically googling holiday deals before you know what you’re doing.

Be warned: if you’ve got itchy feet in Ireland and dream of exotic getaways, these travel pictures will give you SERIOUS wanderlust.

Nusa Penida Island

This little island off the coast of Bali is breathtakingly beautiful, so it’s no wonder it’s referred to as a “blue paradise island.” Unspoiled by overt commercialism and just far enough away from all nearby tourist traps, Nusa Penida is the place to have an authentic, relaxing experience.

If only Ryanair would have a seat sale to here.

Rice Terrace Fields, China

The Longsheng Rice Terrace was originally named after the word Longji, which means dragon, because the pattern is thought to resemble a dragon’s scales.

It’s widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in China and YES, fair.

Seljalandsfoss, Iceland

One of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland, this region is utterly stunning and a total dream for photographers.

Can we go now please?

Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale is a stack of white mineral pools in southwest Turkey, with a clear view of Denizli city below.

Tourists can bathe in the impossibly clear hot springs or wander along the enormous white terraces of travertine, built up over time from mineral deposits in the water.

Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Antelope Canyon’s mind-boggling rock formations are a must-see, so ditch the Grand Canyon and come here instead.

Located in the American southwest, this place is a stunning hidden gem.

Chefchaouen, Morocco

Can you tell why this place is nicknamed the Blue City?

This striking setting is located in the Rif Mountains of Northwest Morocco and features iconic handwashed blue walls in the old town.

Narrow cobbled streets, colourful fixtures and serpentine design guarantee some *stunning* pictures from a trip here.

Sure do it for the Instagram if nothing else?

Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia

Mother nature did well here. This place is ridiculously scenic and just a three-hour flight away.

Sold.

Grand Prismatic Spring, Wyoming

Yellowstone National Park is home to some of the most amazing naturally occurring sites in the world, including the rainbow coloured rock surrounding the park’s giant spring.

Don’t be tempted to take a dip though, it’s the hottest spring in the US.

If you’re not itching to book a trip away after seeing those, your willpower is just TOO strong.
