This one is probably best known for its golfing facilities but there’s far more to it than that. This 18th century property is located in Straffan in Co. Kildare and is just 30 minutes from Dublin – making it the perfect spot for a weekend break.
There’s a walled garden, a beautiful spa and tons of different activities available on site – including fishing in the river that flows through the estate. Nice.

The entire interior of this Galway hotel is a style statement, with the Design Director being none other than famous milliner Philip Tracey. There is a gorgeous spa on site and they do a fab afternoon tea – the ideal hotel for an Insta-worthy girly weekend.

One of the hotels selected by Kim and Kanye for their Irish honeymoon, Ballyfin has long been a popular choice for those looking for tranquility and privacy. You can indulge all of your Downton Abbey fantasies on the 614-acre estate and browse some incredible art from the likes of Louis le Brocquy and Mainie Jennett.
Adare Manor
This Limerick spot is currently under refurbishment and given how impressive it was pre-transformation, we are very excited to see what they do with the place. The new reborn Adare Manor will include a cinema and “an entire new wing of luxurious bedrooms”. It reopens later this year so watch this space…
