People Are Hilariously Ripping The Piss Out Of This Irish Vegan Festival Event On Facebook

If 2016 taught us anything, it was how to troll a good Facebook event.

If you can recall the Mass event of way back when, the people of Facebook have shown us how to get serious mileage out of what was originally not even a joke.

This brings us to the 2017 edition; The Irish Vegan Festival 2017

Lest we forget, Ireland is still a very much meat eating nation. You’d be hard pressed to find a vegetarian option in most restaurants (never mind vegan) so Irish people are still finding it a bit hard to take on board.

The narky nature of notion-callers in Ireland, as well as a growing fascination of Veganuary (opting to choose a vegan lifestyle during the month of January as a sort of ‘detox’) was just a match made in heaven.

And comments like the above obviously gave way to a whole load of similar jokes.

”Let’s break boundaries guys and show the world that a vegan diet is the way forward”

”Will their be a BBQ?”

”Is their festival’s opening time strict, or can you just ‘turnip’ whenever you want?”

The comments have since been deleted, and as a result – the page has had a surge of interest. Meaning that something good, sort of, came out of it.

All’s fair in love and Facebook, right?!
