Firefighters have been battling through the night to bring a massive gorse fire in Cork under control.
Four units of the fire brigade are at the scene at Guagán Barra where at one point the fire came within 100 metre of a farmhouse.

According to RTÉ, the fire was 5 kilometres wide at one point and is slowly being brought under control.
