The Canadian ambassador to Ireland was at a remembrance ceremony for the fallen soldiers of 1916 today when a protester decided to make his point. 

Rather than waiting for the Gardaí to rock up, the diplomat took things into his own hands and sorted the matter. 

Ambassador Kevin Vickers has a history of taking action into his own hands, having shot an intruder in the Canadian parliament in 2014. No fear from this man.
