The London Underline Would Be An Entirely New Way To Cycle Around A City

The design firm Gensler have come up with a unique new proposal that would turn London’s old unused underground tunnels into living streets below the capital. They would be open to cyclists, pedestrians and run in two directions across the city. The proposal also includes, restaurants, cafes as well as click and collect points for picking up online shopping. The futuristic concept won a design prize this week and what we love about it is that all the infrastructure is already there so the turnaround would be pretty streamlined.
