Canadian designer Peter Boutakis claims to have created the world’s most compact bike called The Helix. The folding bike packs down to the size of its wheels, making it super-efficient if you live in bustling cities that require you to use more than one mode of transport a day to get about.
When the bike is fully folded down, it’s dimensions are 58 centimetres high, 63.5 centimetres across and 23 centimetres wide. And its really light, coming in at 21lbs. Once its folded – you can wheel it around if you like, and the fold-design allows the bike to stand on its own too. Not only can the Helix be used for getting around in your own home town, it fits perfectly into a standard suitcase so you can even bring it abroad!
Its handmade in Canada using durable titanium, and is due to start shipping as soon as July 2015. It will be available for pre-order on Kickstarter in early March. Slick, slick and slick.
