Is This The World’s Scariest Hotel?

Climbers in the Italian Alps can now spend a night in a tube that hangs over a cliff edge. The project is named the New Refuge Gervasutti, and was designed by Italian architects LEAPfactory, who specialise in creating survival units for extreme environments.

Bunk beds and wardrobes occupy the back of the pod and the living room/kitchen are located inside the area that overhangs the mountainside. The project cost €250,000 is solar powered and can sleep up to 12 people. I’m just not quite sure if I’d get a full nights sleep here myself!
