At this point, we’ve come to realise that nothing is scared in the world of chocolate.
We’ve dealt with a steady downsizing of the Cadbury’s Roses box, not to mention the cull of some of our favourite sweets, and it seems the disappointment is set to continue.
Quality Street announced this week that it is getting rid of the Toffee Deluxe, claiming that it had received complaints from customers that there were too many caramel-based options in the box.
It will be replaced by a Honeycomb Crunch, which sounds perfectly nice, but to say people are pissed off is an understatement.
More bad news! first #GBBO now #QualityStreet. Why oh why get rid of #toffeedeluxe, when it’s the strawberry and orange ones that get left.

That said, there’s one or two people who won’t be sorry to see it go.
