These Are Irish People’s Absolute Fave Chocolate Dishes

Did you know it’s World Chocolate Day today? Yep, as if Friday’s couldn’t get any better, it just has.

You pretty much have to eat some choccie today, it’s the rules.

We all have a soft spot for a certain chocolate dessert, and Deliveroo have just revealed Irish people’s absolute fave choc dishes to order across the country:

Deliveroo also discovered the time when our chocolate cravings are most likely to kick-in and resulting in an indulgent order…

Italy is the first to break with the average Italian ordering a chocolate treat at 15:08 followed by the Netherlands who crack at16:29. 

Brits are the last to give in to their cravings at 20.36 in the evening. Interestingly across the globe Sunday is the most popular day to indulge in a chocolate treat but Ireland bucks this trend favoring Saturday afternoon at 17:09.

Liam Keenan, General Manager of Deliveroo Ireland says; “Everyone loves chocolate no matter where they’re from, but it’s very interesting to see the peak international times that people choose to indulge in a sweet treat. Saturday evenings are one of our busiest times for our riders, and what with our desert orders growing month on month it’s safe to say Irish people most certainly have a sweet tooth. 

We’re not too sure if we can wait until 5pm tomorrow, after all that talk of chocolate we think we’re gonna have to have a little treat now…
