Legendary food festival, Meatopia, is swapping the Thames for our Liffey this summer.
That’s right – in collaboration with Guinness Meatopia will be calling The Open Gate Brewery at St. James’s Gate Brewery, Dublin home over the first weekend in July.
And we honestly cannot freakin’ wait.
Originally conceived in New York, the now US and UK Meatopia movement, a collective of chefs, butchers, artisans, brewers and producers, is coming to Ireland for the first time for a special Guinness X Meatopia weekend long exclusive event within the gates of the Dublin brewery on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2.
Beer + meat = something we can definitely get behind.
Over two days, beer lovers and Meatopians, old and new from far and wide, will enjoy unique dishes, grilled or smoked over sustainable wood and charcoal, by some of the world’s best live fire chefs.
Guest beers from independent brewers in the UK and Ireland, will be on tap at the event – along with the usual Guinness classics.
There’ll also be eclectic programme of music across the weekend.
Go for the meat – stay for a boogie.
Get ya’self some tickets here.
