When it comes to comfort food, you really can’t beat a good pizza and one Limerick restaurant has gone the extra mile to fulfil your carb cravings.

Da Vincenzo Food & Wine Hall at The George Hotel has just launched Ireland’s first half-metre pizza – and it looks absolutely divine.

The half-metre pizza is popular in Naples, which is the hometown of Executive Head Chef Vincenzo Incendiario, and this was the inspiration behind the new menu.

This delicious creation consists of three 12-inch pizzas hand kneaded and fire-baked at 430 degrees – using ingredients imported from Italy with seasonal produce supplied by local farmers and artisan producers in Limerick.

The new addition is designed to be shared and starts from €25.
