Yay – Chopped Has Announced 20 New Irish Stores And Over 300 Jobs

Sarah

Super healthy food chain Chopped has announced it will double its Irish stronghold with the opening of 20 new stores across the country – bringing the total number of stores to 40. Wow.

These new stores will create 320 jobs, a mixture of full and part-time positions for wannabe salad ninjas.

New outlets are planned for Wicklow, Cork, Waterford, and Dublin for this year and we bet there’ll be a lot of excitement when they open.

The salad bar will also expand into the UK for the first time, opening six new branches by the middle of the year.

Chopped has announced plans to create 430 jobs in Ireland and the UK.

“Last year we set a target of increasing our staff numbers by 100 and we exceeded that expectation by increasing our employees by 140 in 2016,” said co-founder and managing director Brian Lee.

“When we received the keys for our first store five years ago, we knew it was the beginning of something great, but we still believe this is only the beginning for Chopped.

“Our staff are what makes Chopped the success it has become and we are looking forward to seeing our family grow as we expand across Ireland and beyond.”

No rest for the wickedly healthy eh?
