Built in 1220, Ballytarsna-Hackett Castle is a fortified tower house in Cashel, Tipperary that’s now available to rent on Airbnb. 

The best thing about it is that it only costs €150 a night and sleeps up to eight people. That works out at less than €20 per person. 

What better place for a few friends to head with some bottles of wine to get away from it all? Or even a family break for the kids, so they’ll be able to say they slept in their own castle.
