Netflix has just released the first full trailer for David Attenborough’s latest documentary series and it looks as stunning as you would expect.

The eight-part series titled Our Planet has been four years in the making in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and will premiere on April 5.

Our Planet was filmed in 50 countries on every continent, taking viewers from the Brazilian rainforest to Norway’s Svalbard archipelago.

Attenborough explains in the trailer’s voiceover, “This is the story of our changing planet and what we can do to help it thrive.”

It will also feature local narrators in 10 different languages, with Penelope Cruz voicing the Spanish version and Salma Hayek taking over for the Latin American one.

Speaking at the WWF’s State of the Planet Address event in London late last year, Attenborough said, “Today we have become the greatest threat to the health of our home, but there’s still time for us to address the challenges we’ve created, if we act now. We need the world to pay attention.

Our Planet brings together some of the world’s best filmmakers and conservationists and I’m delighted to help bring this important story to millions of people worldwide.”

Over 600 members of crew worked on the huge project which will look at diverse habitats around the world, from the Arctic to the jungles of South America.
