It’s about to get pretty chilly out there, folks.
You can already feel how fresh it is this morning but it’s about to get even colder.
Freezing temperatures are on the way as we set to fall below zero tonight.
According to Met Eireann today, ‘After a chilly start, temperatures will rise to between 10 and 12 C., in light northwest or variable breezes’.
But then tonight ‘it will be cold with lows temperatures of -1 to plus 2 C., with some grass frost. But more cloudy in the west and north and less cold too, with values of plus 2 to 5 C. Light southwest winds will increase moderate to fresh in the west and northwest coastal counties’.
Hopefully, tomorrow brings warmer times as ‘early frost in the south and east soon clear, with some sunny spells for a time’ and ‘top temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees’.
