There Will Be A ‘Brunch Bus’ Trip To This Gorgeous Little Cork Pub This Weekend

James Fenton

The long weekend may have been and gone but that doesn’t mean we can’t make plans for the shorter ones that lie ahead.

If you’re around the Cork area this Sunday there’s one activity that sounds like an unreal way to enjoy a rare day off. The annual Eggs On Tour trip is a brunch bus which takes patrons to the delightful little Levi’s Corner House in Ballydehob for a day of food, tunes and craic with friends and strangers alike.

Organised by Ciarán Meade of Bobo café, the journey will start with a pick-up at Filter Café on George’s Quay in the city at 11am on Sunday. There will then be a possible beach stop (weather permitting) before arrival at Levi’s around 1pm.

Food will be served until it runs out and music will be pumping out throughout the day. Attendees are encouraged to explore the beautiful surroundings before the bus makes its way back to the city at 6pm for an 8pm arrival.

The cost is €25 for the brunch and bus or just €10 for the brunch alone and you can find out more information here. Now that’s a Sunday you can look forward to.
