WATCH: Hozier Went Busking At A New York City Subway Station

Kiara Keane

Hozier surprised commuters in New York City this week by starting an impromptu busk at a subway station.

The Dublin singer celebrated the release of his second album Wasteland, Baby, which came out on Friday, by performing one of his new songs called Almost (Sweet Music).

Hozier shared a video of the surprise performance at the Rockefeller Centre subway station on his Instagram page.

He wrote, ‘Dropped in on some New Yorkers’ commute home tonight for a quick subway session.’

Judging by the comments, plenty of Irish fans were not happy to have missed it but thankfully Hozier will be back on home soil this summer for a massive show.

He’ll be headlining Cork’s Irish Independent Park with support from Maggie Rogers on June 25.
