In 1999, Jim Carrey starred in the biopic Man On The Moon to much critical acclaim… but behind the scenes, things weren’t all rosy.
The film told the story of Andy Kaufman, a comedian so dedicated to his craft that he didn’t drop his comedic personas when the camera wasn’t on him.
During the filming of Man On The Moon, Carrey behaved the exact same way.
For almost 20 years the biopic’s behind-the-scenes footage was suppressed by the Universal Studios out of fear that their star would come off as an “asshole”.
