Greystones restaurant Daata issues update following staff Covid scare

Daata

A regular Friday night takeaway choice with locals, Daata is famous for its tasty Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

Already a very trying time for those working in the hospitality industry, owners now face the added challenge of having to temporarily close one of their branches after learning that a staff member has tested positive for Covid-19.

Updating customers on the situation, the Daata team shared a message to social media that reads:

“Daata Greystones is now closed as a member of staff has tested positive for Covid19. All staff will get tested and isolate and second tested for us to reopen safely.

“This decision was easy to make as our priority is the health and safety of our staff and community.”

Confirming that Daata Bray will remain open, owners reassured the public that both restaurants have separate staff (kitchen, floor and drivers) and the Greystones closure has no effect on their second Wicklow location.
