There’s a Christmas Market in Wicklow and they have alpacas

Sarah Finnan

A Christmas market in itself is enough to keep me happy, throw in some animals and I’m completely sold.

A softer, somewhat sassier (they spit when they’re angry) version of the traditional reindeer, K2 Alpacas will bring their furry friends to Wicklow for a festive Alpaca experience.

The Christmas hat – too cute to handle.

Back once again, this year promises to be even merrier than before.

Set in the historic Abbey grounds in Wicklow Town, it will run November 23rd, 24th and 30th as well as December 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th from 12noon to 6pm.

Lights, jolly tunes, mischievous elves and even a Santa Express train.

That sounds as good, if not better, than the North Pole itself.

Other attractions include a magical funfair with live music along with a selection of local artisan foods, decorations, gifts and workshops.

Alpaca my bags right now.
