There’s socially distanced stand-up coming to Kildare!

Fiona Frawley

We’ve all been in need of a laugh over the last two years.

Stating the obvious I know but hey, still worth mentioning. If you’ve been missing the dingy dark delights of weeknight comedy clubs, we feel you. Laughing at someone else’s problems instead of your own is a form of self-care, and an important midweek ritual. While a return to that kind of stand-up isn’t on the cards just yet, you can still enjoy some socially distanced laughs with your pals in the sun with this deadly line-up at Palmerstown House.

The bill for this gig includes names that kept us lolling all the way through lockdown with genius online content, and we’re buzzin for the chance to see them live again! The gigs will take place on Friday 6th and Friday 13th of August, with limited capacity and allocated picnic bench pods for you and your group. Tables can seat 4-6 people, and will be spaced 2 metres apart.

If comedy isn’t your thing, they’ve also got swing bands, country music and loads more scheduled for the month of August. Head over to their website and find the gig that’s right for you and in the meantime, enjoy some online laughs from some of our fave comics off the comedy line-up.
