To help us get in the spirit, the folks from An Post are here to lend a hand through their Send from the Heart Christmas Campaign. Households up and down the country are currently receiving their very first Christmas card from An Post, as they remind us of the importance of sending love.
An Post’s Christmas card is designed by the Dublin-based creative agency Boys + Girls. Featuring a beautiful illustration of the iconic Tin Man, standing beside a woman and her dog. Prop it above your fireplace, stick it to your fridge or pop it up on your desk – wherever you choose to display An Post’s Christmas card, it’s bound to bring a distinctly festive feeling to your home.
Speaking at the launch of the Send from the Heart Christmas Campaign, commercial marketing director Julie Gill said: “We are delighted to be able to send love to the nation with the first Christmas card and hopefully it is the first one of many. Send love.”
Meanwhile, Jake O’Driscoll, the creative director of Boys + Girls, said: “As an agency, we didn’t take the task of sending joy (and mail) to every home in the country lightly. Our goal? Open that envelope, make you grin, and start Christmas off as you mean to continue it. Our fantastic studio team whipped up a visual treat with just the right dash of Christmas magic. Because, let’s be real, nothing says ‘holiday season’ like when the tree goes up and the cards start gracing your mantlepiece.”
