Prince William doesn’t stop for many selfies but he wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to make this young lady’s day.
Hardcore sports fan Jennifer Malone can now add Prince William to the list of A-List names that she’s been lucky enough to meet, having already brushed shoulders with the likes of Hugh Jackman, Johnny Sexton, Una Healy and Greg O’Shea.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their tour of Ireland on Wednesday, beginning their day with a visit to a mental health charity for young people in Temple Bar before the short trip to Kildare.
It was there, in Prosperous, that Prince William came across Jennifer who, sporting her beloved Irish rugby jersey, asked the Royal for a cheeky selfie.

Prince William duly obliged and smiled for a photograph alongside Jennifer, clutching the bunch of daffodils he had been given by her to give to his wife, Kate Middleton.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge then made their way on to Meath, where they took a look at the Derrypatrick herd at the Teagasc Animal Bioscience Research Centre.
They closed out their afternoon with a quiet stroll in Howth, enjoying the sunshine on one of the more pleasant days in recent weeks.
Tomorrow, William and Kate are expected to make the trip west to take in the sights and sounds of Galway before returning to the United Kingdom.
