Five Unreal Events To Check Out In Cork This Week

James Fenton

Monday is here but if you’re planning on splitting your time between your house and your office this week then you’re missing out big time.

There are plenty of things going on in Cork this week to keep you occupied and with the weather set for a slight improvement, there’s no excuse not to get any fresh air into your lungs.

Take your pick from the following…

Liv at The Everyman

Check out some live theatre as Liv brings you on an emotional rollercoaster through love, marriage, death and dating.

The play takes place at The Everyman Bar on Tuesday and Wednesday and more information can be found here.

Bear Bojack at Bru Bar

Bear Bojack is a blues/soul singer who has supported the likes of David Kitt and James Vincent McMorrow in the past.

With a voice compared to Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley, you can check him out for yourself on Tuesday night.

Historical walk in Cork’s Victorian Quarter

Get some fresh air and learn about the history of the area with historian Anne Twomey. The walk is free and those interested should meet at the Summerhill end of MacCurtain St. at 7 p.m.

Yoga In The Park

The event has raised over €62,000 for charity over the last five years and organisers will be hoping to add to that this year.

More information on the event can be found here.
