Some Dose expand their coffee, cake, and craic empire in The Rebel County.

After two and a half years in business, Some Dose have expanded to a new location. The coffee spot first launched in Cork in March 2020, a precarious time for hospitality to say the least. Despite those challenges, Some Dose persevered, serving coffee, cake, and craic at Hanley’s Garden Centre throughout the last couple of years.

Then on November 11th 2022, the Some Dose team took to Instagram to share the happy news that they were opening their second Cork location.

Just under two weeks later, they did just that, launching at Turners Cross on Wednesday 23rd November. They shared a message on socials to document their first day open, saying:

First day in our new location, done and dusted. A massive thank you to each and every person that stopped by to get a coffee, wish us luck, or just to have a little sconce, we really don’t know what we did to deserve such kind customers. Our hearts are full, we landed with our bums in the coolest neighbourhood in Cork.”

The new Some Dose location opens Tuesday through to Saturday, from 8am to 5pm. Their Hanleys location also remains open, Tuesday to Saturday from 8am to 4:30pm, and on Sundays from 9am to 4pm.
