12 Irish businesses raising funds and organising drop off points for Ukraine

Businesses all over the the country have been organising fundraisers and doubling up as drop-off centres to collect supplies for those fleeing Ukraine.

If you’re looking to get involved, we’ve compiled a list of collection points and fundraisers currently on the go, and will add more to the list as we hear about them. Details of opening hours/collection times and items needed can be found on each businesses Instagram page.

Cork

Homeless Help and Support, Cork City

The Cork based charity are collecting the items listed below at their offices on Union Quay this Saturday 5th March, between the hours of 10am and 4pm.

Good Day Deli, Cork City

On Saturday 5th March, Good Day Deli will donate all coffee sales to Unicef Ireland, who are running an emergency appeal for the people of Ukraine.

Coláiste Muire, Cobh

Coláiste Muire have organised a drop off point at Ca’s Cabin, with collections also underway at Supervalu and Lidl in Cobh.

Cracked Cafe, Bandon

Cracked Cafe will be collecting items listed below this Thursday – Sunday, between the hours of 10am and 7:30pm.

Galway

56 Central Restaurant, Galway City

Tomorrow (1st March), all sales of pancakes at 56 Central Restaurant will be donated to Ukrainians in need.

Smakoteka Polish Store, Merlin Park

Smakoteka are acting as a collection point for clothing and other goods for those fleeing Ukraine. More details about items currently being accepted can be found in the post below.

Pink Bee, Caherciveen

Pink Bee have teamed up with Support Ukraine to act as the drop off point for the Caherciveen area. Items needed are listed in the post below.

Malibu Tan, Bridge Street

Malibu Tan in Sligo are sending a truck to Poland this Saturday (5th). Details of items needed can be found in the post below.

Allas Patisserie, Fethard

Ukrainian-owned bakery Allas Patisserie spent the weekend collecting funds and resources for Ukraine. Keep an eye on their Instagram for info on further fundraising initiatives.

Greystones Tennis Club, Greystones

Together for Homeless in conjunction with Greystones Tennis Club are accepting donations for Ukraine during the times listed in the post below.

The Good Life will be collecting hygiene items and non perishable foods until tomorrow, March 1st.
