An Army Bomb Disposal team made safe two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) found at a derelict house yesterday.
The devices were found at a house in the Aughnaskerry area just outside of Cavan Town yesterday evening at 8.45PM, following request from the Gardaí.
The devices were made safe at the scene and then were removed to a military location for further examination, the scene was declared safe at 10.40pm. The parts will be handed over to An Garda Síochána for evidence.
